Welcome to my life. It's crazy, filled with love, and often a bit messy. I wouldn't have it any other way.

28 Weeks

I had my appointment with my midwife today and everything's going great. Blood pressure is good, my tummy is measuring just right, and Limer's heart beat is going strong. The midwife also went over the ultrasound report with me and the Dr. has no concerns at all now since the fluid is within the normal range. Whoo hoo! I also had my 1 hour glucose test today, but I won't find out the results until tomorrow (or never) because the nurse said that they only call if I fail. Luckily the drink wasn't too bad and I didn't have any of the icky side effects that I've heard others sometimes have. Yay for things going great. She also said that they can start to tell what position the baby is in and she thinks that he's head down which makes sense to me since I'm getting kicked up near the ribs.
This week at our Bradley class Jon and I started really delving into what to expect in labor. It's all kind of scary, but I'm glad that I'll be prepared. I'm also enjoying seeing Jon learn more about everything. Some of the info I already have from reading the books, but a lot of it is new to him. The information has also sparked some conversations which I think is the most important part. By the time we get to labor we'll both have a great idea of what we want and how to go about making sure that things happen as close to that way as possible. =)
Picture to come later.
